Roger "Rudy" Lee Massey Jr.

Roger "Rudy" Lee Massey, Jr., 60, of Norcross, Ga., son of the late Roger and Elsie Massey, entered into eternal peace, Saturday, March 14, 2015. Rudy was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon and her husband Alvin Runion and is survived by his sisters, Rita (George) Martin, Jackie Massey, and Carolyn Waldon and her son's Todd and Scott; nephews, Rich Martin and his daughter Bella, Matt Runion and Maggie; niece, Lindsey Sprouse and her children Abby, Libby and T.J.; dear friends, Georgie, Paula, Scooby and Lisa; numerous cousins. Rudy was a hard worker and took pride in everything he did, especially helping others. Many close friends often talked about his adventures. Memories of Crabtree, stingray bikes, to mopeds and finally his vet, are stories of good times and laughter. Rudy could do anything he set his mind to and did it well. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
