BLUNT, Marian Edith Toler, 90, of Richmond Va., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Marian was a 1939 graduate of John Marshall High School. Prior to marriage and her time as a homemaker and devoted mother, she worked for various employers including State Planters Bank. Marian was also a faithful member of the Southside Christian and Missionary Alliance Church for over 40 years, serving much of that time as treasurer. Once her children were grown, she returned to the workplace at the Chesterfield County Treasurers Office, retiring in 1990. Marian then embraced her role as “Grandma”. Sadly, the quality of her final years of life was greatly impacted by dementia. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Warner L. Blunt, Jr.; sisters Dorothy T. Major, Florence T. Moore, Helen T. Goyne; brothers Charles L. Toler, Jr. and Robert L. Toler. She is survived by her sister Virginia T. Fetta; three children, Beverly B. Wraase (Richard), Joanne B. Rasnic (Bob), and Warner L. Blunt, III (Connie); five grandchildren, Lauren B. Armstrong (Tracy), Lindsey B. Beckham (Brandon), Warner L. Blunt, IV, David L. Rasnic (Miranda), and Kristen G. Rasnic; and 4 great grandchildren, Toler, Kate and Jack Armstrong, and, Andy Beckham. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to those special caregivers at Glenburnie Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Private Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
