James "Jim" Michael Wells

James "Jim" Michael Wells 26, of Hopewell, died on August 9, 2014. He was a beloved son, husband, grandson, nephew and uncle. Born December 13, 1987 in Hopewell, VA. James was a Hopewell High School graduate class of 2005, a charter member of the Ft. Eustis Kiwanis Club, a past Navy veteran and member of Calvary's Love Ministries in Hopewell. Jim was preceded in death by his "Pawpaw" Gilbert "Joe" Wells and his "Pap pa" Charles "Charlie" Whitmire and his grandmother Mary Whitmire. James is survived by his loving wife of 5 years Malibu Star Wells, His father David W Wells (April) his mother Mala W Burton (Joe), his brother Stephen W Wells, stepbrother Eric Burton and stepsister Tawnya Burton, Grandmother Audrey Wells Parson and step-grandfather Rev. Jackson "Jack" Parsons, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and especially his three "Fur babies" Boots, Princess, and Sassy. Jim touched so many hearts in his short life, His love and his memory will be with us forever There will be a memorial service at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 23875 Highway Forty Seven, South Hill, VA 23970.at 11:00am on Saturday, August 16, 2014. There will also be a memorial service for his friends and family in Hopewell, on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00pm with a visitation following at Calvary’s Love Ministries Church 118 S. 11th Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860. Graveside services will be at a later date.
