Ann Griffith Wilburn

Ann G. Wilburn (Ingalls) of Richmond, Virginia passed away peacefully on January 07, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Virginia Griffith, Sister Eleanor Alford, and husband David M. Wilburn, and numerous lifelong friends. She is survived by her two sons, Rawson (Buzz) Ingalls Jr. (Debbie); David Ingalls (Ani). With four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond, Virginia, where she was baptized in 1937 and continued to be a regular member. Ann loved to golf and became a member of the Richmond Country Club. If you were looking for Ann you could usually find her on the golf course from early in the morning until lunch time. Other than golf she loved to play other types of sports such as tennis which she took up in her 60’s. When she wasn’t playing sports you could find her at the river. Ann was a loving mother to her two sons, and was a very strong, confident, and upfront individual. A funeral service will take place on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Parham Road chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229.
