Katherine Pugh Wilkinson

Katherine Pugh Wilkinson, 90, of Richmond, formerly of Virginia Beach, died July 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Wilkinson. She is survived by her two sons, Willard P. (Tink) Wilkinson (Sharon) and B. Randolph Wilkinson (Melissa), and three grandchildren, Kasey Gibney (Ryan), and Hank and Ty Wilkinson. She is also survived by one sister, Jean Ramsey. She retired from the Norfolk City Public Schools where she taught home economics for many years, and was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach. A quilter, knitter, and master cookie-baker, she not only made special gifts for her family, but volunteered her time and skills for others. Always optimistic, Katherine saw the best in everyone. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 7, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Virginia, from 12:00 to 1:00, followed by a funeral service at 1:00.
