She was a Home Economist for the Virginia Electric and Power Co., and an Executive Director for the Tidewater Dairy Council, which was absorbed by the Southeast United Dairy Industrial Association, and retired from there as a Regional Vice President. She was a member of Baylake United Methodist Church, and also a member of Suburban Woman’s Club, and the Norfolk Senior Citizens Center. Effie and Frank were married for 62 years this past May. It should be noted that the two of them were quite physically active, sailing, playing tennis three days a week, and Effie often walking the beach for miles, until their health declined approximately 18 months ago. She was also involved in several activities at Westminster, especially F. & J. Effie is survived by her husband Hunter “Frank” Robinson, Jr. of Westminster Canterbury; Brother Joseph G.
