Mark Lange Tweedall, 77, passed away on April 12, 2022. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on October 20, 1944 to Dr. Daniel and Connie Tweedall. He attended Saint Teresa Elementary, Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Reitz Memorial High School, was a graduate of St. Louis University as well as Southern Illinois University. He served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army between 1968 and 1969 where he received 2 Bronze Stars, a Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and a Combat Infantryman Badge. He worked in financial services and was CPA certified in Indiana and Kentucky. Mark was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and a past President of the Institute of Management Accountants. He loved Civil War history, reading financial investment books, keeping up with current events, considered himself an avid wall starer, loved attending the Castle sports games and always rooted for the underdog. He is survived by his wife, Peggy L. Tweedall (Ross) of 43 years; daughter, Corinne E. Gorman and her husband Andy; son, James M.L. Tweedall and his wife Hadleigh; grandkids, Joseph Tweedall, Faye Tweedall, and Louis Tweedall; brothers, Daniel L. Tweedall and wife Debra, John L. Tweedall and wife Leigh Ann; nephew, Daniel C Tweedall; niece, Barbara L. Tweedall; mother-in-law, Betty McIntyre and extended family in St. Louis. Funeral services will be handled by the Alexander Funeral Home Newburgh Chapel located at 5333 State St 261 Newburgh, Indiana 47630, #812-853-0077. Visitation will be on Monday April 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a short service at 1:00 p.m.officiated by Father Ted Tempel. People will then be invited to the interment at Oak Hill Cemetery at 1400 E. Virginia St. Evansville, IN 47711. In lieu of flowers please donate to your preferred veteran’s charity.
