Winford E. Moore

Winford E. Moore, 82, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. The son of the late Felix Madison and Selly Ethel (Bird) Moore, Winford was born February 17, 1935 in Mickey, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Henry Vogt Machine Company as a crane operator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Warner Moore, Wayland Moore, Marie Moore, and Marjorie Troutman. Winford is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jean (Holt) Moore; sons, Jimmy E. Moore and Michael L. Moore, Sr. (Triee); grandchildren, Jessica Galloway, Chad Ballew, Autumn Wright, Aaron Nichols, Andrea Moore, and Michael L. Moore, Jr.; great grandchild, Jordan Stewart; and siblings, Etheleen Garrison and Josephine Roberts. Visitation will be 10:00 am ~ 2:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
