Thomas J. "Tom" Long Jr.

Thomas J. “Tom” Long Jr. 85 years of age died Thursday December 17th, 2015. He was born August 14, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thomas J. Long Sr. and Helen (Buckner) Long and moved to Indiana in 1971. Tom attended Louisville Central High school and the University of Louisville Municipal College. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Brown and Williamson and was the husband of Debra S. Long. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Telanna L. Johnson and a daughter Teri E. Long. Tom will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include: Wife: Debra S. (Jones) Long Three Daughters: M. Diane Crockett(Ben), Pamela D. Ross, H. Gayle Snadon. Two Stepchildren: Tiffany Hutchins(Danny) and Eric Hill Sister: Charlotte L. Coffee 8 Grandchildren, 2 Step-grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren Cremation has been chosen. A reception of family and friends will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm Tuesday December 22nd with a Memorial Service to be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Services 708 E.
