MICHAEL PAUL KELTY, 18, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born March 16, 1996 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a senior at New Albany High School and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas B. Kelty, Jr. Survivors include his mothers, Mary E. (Lamon) Kelty and Ruth Kelty Williams; and canine companion, Precious He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who were always there with lots of love and to help in Michael’s care. The family would especially like to thank his caregivers, Christine Clark and Debra Harbeson, Gary Wampler and Cara Manry; and an extra special thank you to their MDA family for their support. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
