Mary Ann Celeste Vacca

Mary Ann Celeste Vacca, 91, of Greenville, Indiana formerly of Cranston, Rhode Island passed away Noveber 9, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born in Cranston, Rhode Island on January 7, 1929 to the late Alfredo and Graziana Teolis Nicini. She worked for Narragansett Brewing Company for many years and then the State of Rhode Island. She was a member of St. Rocco's Church in Johnston, Rhode Island and sang in the choir as a soloist for over 60 years. Mary Ann was known for her wonderful baking skills, and making wedding cakes for her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Vacca Sr.; step mother, Mary Coppelelli Nicini; a brother, Armondo Nicini; and two sisters, Julia Howard and Grace Iannuccilli. She is survived by a son, Albert Vacca, Jr. and his wife Joann; granddaughter, Carla (Vacca) Waiz and her husband, Brian; grandson, Albert A. Vacca and his wife, Carol; and great-grandchildren, Dylan D. Waiz, Albert L. Vacca, Vivian M. Waiz, Luciana Vacca and Bennett Vacca; two siblings, Sarah DeMaio and Anthony Nicini and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation and Funeral Services will be private under the direction of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Burial will Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
