Mabel L. Meredith

Mabel L. Meredith, 97, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Mabel was born in Brownsville, Kentucky on November 9, 1925 to the late Carter and Vissie French Stice. She was previous employed at Lorillard Tobacco Company but for the most of her life, she spent taking care of her family. She was involved in the Red Hat Society, an avid collector of many things, a crafter and was talented with a needle and piece of thread. Christmas will never be the same without her candy. She loved cooking, especially for her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Meredith; a son, Larry Meredith; son-in-law, Dean Quillet; and siblings, Everett Stice, Holland Stice, Carter Stice Jr., Ruth Stice Meredith and Lois Stice Madison. Mabel is survived by a daughter, Betty Quillet; grandchildren, Christopher D. Quillet (Heather), Jason D. Meredith, Ashley L. Meredith and Austin K. Meredith; and numerous friends and nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mabel will be held Monday, May 29, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home with private entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
