John A. LeMaster Jr., age 81, of Memphis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John A. LeMaster Sr. and Mary Harper LeMaster. He was a retired Process Engineer with General Electric for over 42 years. He ministered to the homeless and several prisons around Southern Indiana. Over the years, John lead worship at multiple churches.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Patricia LeMaster and Kathleen LeMaster; and a step daughter, Melanie Knox.
John is survived by three sons, John Mark LeMaster (Julie), Greg Allen LeMaster (Mary) and Timothy Shawn LeMaster (Jill); step children, Todd Worley (Anita), Dana Stocksdale (Todd), Trent Edling (Marie), Anne London and Chris Howland (Patti); grandchildren, Clark LeMaster (Alyssa), Caleb LeMaster, Carson LeMaster, Morgan LeMaster, Madison LeMaster, Olive LeMaster, Janis LeMaster, Maya LeMaster and Jacob Clark; step grandchildren, Hannah Mayberry (Will), Sydney Stocksdale, Hadley Enlow, Haven Enlow, Trinity Erwin (Dylan), Gwenn Edling, Adler Edling, Kate Martin (Jerrod), Elizabeth Chun (Chaney), J C London (Jen), Phillip London, Hayden Howland (Anna), Evans Howland (Danielle), Logan Howland(Madison), Crystal Knox, Tiffany Hall, Joshua Lively, Hannah Lively, and Justin Lively ; one great grandson, Liam LeMaster; and four step great grandchildren, Nicolas Huber, Malachi West, Jade Hall and Bryce Hall.
Visitation for John will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with his funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow in Abundant Life Cemetery.
