James "Jim" H. Sexton Jr.

James "Jim" H. Sexton Jr., 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Jim was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 26, 1947 to the late James Sexton and Katherine Sheilds Gooseman. He was a veteran in the United States Navy and was retired from Standard Motor Products. For hobbies, Jim loved to quilt and was very meticulous and everything was done with perfection. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Joe; and two sisters, Betty and Carolyn. Jim is survived by his wife, Emily Sexton; children, Jennifer (Bill Marion) Sexton, James (Rebecca) Sexton III and Chris (Amy) Sexton; grandchildren, Isabella and Emma Sexton; a brother, Johnny; two sisters, Judy and Barbara; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Buddy Bernie and Harvey. A memorial visitation for Jim will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to InKy Animal Rescue.
