Gary Franklin Aker

Gary Franklin Aker, 59, died January 14, 2014 at his residence following an illness. He was born May 29, 1954 in Rushville, Indiana to Bill and Beverly Aker. Gary was a furniture refinisher with Smith Furniture Co. in Louisville and a member of Christ’s Community Church of the Nazarene in New Albany. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Aker. Survivors include: Mother: Beverly Aker Brothers: Steve Aker (Debbie) Scott Aker (Jodi) Nieces: Carrie Franklin Leslie Faas Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 2:30 pm Saturday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with private burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
