Donald Lee Kroeger

Don Kroeger was born March 5, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky, and his earthly life ended on January 20, 2023. Don received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He relocated to El Paso, Texas in 1974 after receiving a job offer from El Paso Natural Gas Company, where he worked for over 25 years before retiring. Don enjoyed watching and playing sports, his favorites were volleyball, tennis, basketball and football. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outdoors. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He will forever live in our hearts and memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Robert Kroeger and Lillian Catherine Kroeger (Gnadinger) and his brother Douglas A. Kroeger.
Don is survived by his five children, Donald Lee Kroeger Jr., Pamela Jean Bieckert (Kroeger), Stephanie Leigh Kroeger, Jennifer Elizabeth Serrano (Kroeger), and Jeffrey David Kroeger; grandchildren, Eric, David, Kory, Jordyn, Sebastian, Selena, Ryan, Addison, Kaia, and Landon; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings Karl, June, Jack and Marilyn.
Visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:30 AM, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Garden Cemetery West.
