Diana N. Pfeifer

Diana N. Pfeifer, age 71, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was born on January 3, 1953, to the late Wilbur and Pearl Kannapel. Diana was married to the love of her life for 50 years, Edmund Pfeifer. She worked as a Seamstress for M. Fine and Sons and later as a Baker for the Horseshoe Casino. Diana enjoyed sports, some of her favorites being softball, bowling, and golf. She also loved the Kentucky Derby. Along with her parents, Diana is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Hudson; brother-in-law, Allen Hudson; father-in-law, Edmund Pfeifer; and mother-in-law, Katherine Pfeifer. Diana leaves behind her loving husband, Edmund Pfeifer Jr.; sisters Patti Thompson (Allen) and Debbie Hamilton (Ronnie); brothers Wilbur Lee Kannapel (Margie), Terry Kannapel, and Jerry Kannapel; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Diana's visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Home, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
