Catherine "Kitty" Goodman

Catherine "Kitty" Goodman, age 78, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024. Kitty was born on July, 29th, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward McConnell and Juanita Taylor McConnell. She married her late husband, George Goodman Jr, on March 12th, 1964. Kitty enjoyed playing bingo and cards, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, George Goodman Jr.; her son, George "Butch" Goodman III; her brothers, Wayne McConnell and Raymond McConnell. She is survived by her son, Mike (Aletha) Goodman; her sister, Debbie Benson; her grandchildren, Corban, Evan, Brooklyn, Cheyenne, Brittany, Megan, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Jordan and Dustin. A visitation for Kitty will be held on Tuesday, July 23nd, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring St. New Albany, Indiana from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
