Betty Jo (Scrogham) Mayfield

Betty J. (Scrogham) Mayfield, 82 years of age passed away on January 16, 2021. She was born on July 22. 1938 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Arvie J. and Elizabeth B. Scrogham. Betty worked at H.A. Seinsheimers as a seamstress and later for LifeSpan Resources in patient care. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and loved spending time with her family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Mayfield; daughters, Barbara Mayfield and Angela Kay Graham (Mike); brother, Jim Scrogham; sisters, Becky Jacobs and Pat Danielson. She is survived by her son, Ed Mayfield (Carolyn); brother, Lloyd Scrogham; sisters, Lynn Faith, Jan Kennedy (Tonie); grandchildren, Brad (Melanie), Heidi (Ricky), Joshua, Amelia; great grandchildren, Sophie, Maddie, Amelia, Tristin, Heavaya; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 1787 Klerner Lane, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at church with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
