Alice E. Berry

Dateline: New Albany, Indiana March 7, 2015 Alice E. Berry, 87, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born February 22, 1928 to the late Walter and Maudie Myrtle (Norman) Beach. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Berry, Sr. and son, Herman Berry, Jr. She was a member of Charlestown Independent Church and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Survivors include: Sons: Joseph Carl Alford David Alford Kevin Berry (Jeannia Gale) Daughters: Edna Thompson (James) Barbara Jordan (Bill) Vicki Carnes Norma Maitland (Thomas) 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with private entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
