Scott Evan Farrell, age 37, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Brown County, died Thursday, March 20 at his residence. Born October 29, 1976 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Michael Earl and Kristi L. (Stuart) Farrell. He was the owner and operator of B & S Drywall in Kansas City. He was a graduate of Brown County High School, class of 1995 and served in the U.S. Army-National Guard. He enjoyed woodworking, especially with furniture, fly fishing, bass fishing, drawing, reading, writing poetry and playing video games. He is survived by his loving family; his wife, Brandy (Catherson) Farrell, of Trafalgar, formerly of Kansas City; four children, Tasha Blakley, Austin Blakley, Brayden Farrell and Braxton Farrell, all at home; two sisters, Jacinda Farrell, of Greenwood and Angela Farrell, of Trafalgar; four nieces, Tiffany, Brittani, Whitney Jo and Makenzie and four nephews, Kaige, Damon, Rusty, Hayden. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Burl and Edith Chasteen; maternal grandparents, Evan S. and Betty Stuart. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to the family for the expenses.
