Linda Strunck

Linda M. Strunck, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Born on May 16, 1949, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Linda was a daughter to the late Charles and Evelyn (McIlvaine) White. After graduating from Northfield High School, Linda moved to Indiana to attend Indiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in speech therapy. She later went on to attend Ball State University, where she received her master’s degree in early childhood education. Linda would continue her time with Ball State University, becoming an assistant professor of early childhood special education. Her hobbies included reading, socializing, and playing cards with her fellow coworkers. Linda is survived by her son, Ben (Margo) Strunck; a daughter, Kari (Todd) Howell; grandchildren, Conner, Abby, Gwen, Gavin, and Grant; and a brother, Harry (Joy) White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Strunck; and a brother, Butch White. Public visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with inurnment immediately following visitation.
