Evelyn J. Chambers

Evelyn J. Chambers, 92, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Westminster Village in Muncie, Indiana, following a brief illness. She was born on Tuesday, November 16, 1926, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Roy and Fern (Janney) Dragoo. Evelyn was a life-long resident of Muncie, Indiana, and retired from Industrial Trust and Savings Bank following forty years of collective employment. She was a past member of First Baptist Church and also previously attended Center Chapel Church. Evelyn loved animals, especially her cats. Evelyn is survived by her son, John (wife, Kristy) Eller, Yorktown, Indiana; two grandchildren, Andy (wife, Kyley) Eller and Raeanne Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Bridget Eller; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Gloria Bunner; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Ray Eller, Jerry Stevens, and Frank Chambers; her son, Todd Eller; sister, Marcella Edwards; and her brother-in-law, Clyde Edwards. Private family services will be held and Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be directed to A.R.F.
