Robert “Bob” Landry was born on January 27, 1952 in Port Sulfur, LA. Bob passed on September 13, 2021 in his home in Midlothian, VA.
Bob was a Graduate of Abbeville Senior High School where he participated in the Beta Club, Industrial Arts Club, Interact Club and was a National Merit Scholar. He also added to his love of Basketball through playing on the school team. Go Wild Cats!
Bob’s Alma Mater was the University of Southwestern Louisiana, here he obtained his BS in Chemical Engineering.
Bob was an Eagle Scout and loved the great outdoors, especially finding sharks teeth on the beaches of NC., hunting and collecting Geodes in TN. and gardening and grilling at home.
Bob loved to read and of course his love and vast knowledge of all thing Rock and Roll brought him years of enjoyment.
Bob should always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, with a touch of Cajun stubbornness.
Bob was well loved and will be forever missed.
Bob is proceeded in death by his parents Joseph and Thelma Landry (Frederick), his Grandparents and his Brother in Law Patrick O’Halloran.
Bob is survived by his Sister Doretha O’Halloran of TN. his Brothers John Landry and James and Sidonia Landry both of LA., Terry and Jennifer House of VA. along with Donna Landry of V.A. and host of family and friends including his beloved fur babies.
