Eugene Edward Lockhart II, 75, died on Oct 26, 2020 at Chippenham Hospital.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he was the son of Eugene Edward Lockhart I and Elizabeth Lee (Patterson). He attended Ohio State University and worked as an agent selling insurance in Richmond, Virginia.
He loved sports, Ohio State Buckeyes, and coaching his children's teams when they were growing up. He excelled in math, science and history. He loved to read. He was self-sacrificing, compassionate and generous. He was optimistic and forgave easily. He was a man of integrity.
He is survived by his children, Chip (Kristen), Bob (Natalie) and Jennifer, grandchildren, Jackson, Kyle, Will, Windsor Grace, Berkeley, and Alexia, sister, Candy Erwin. He was predeceased by, father, Eugene Edward Lockhart I, mother, Elizabeth Lee (Patterson), and brother, William Clyde Sutherland.
A private viewing will be held on Oct 31 at 10:30 am with a private funeral to follow at 11 am at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, Virginia 23113.
