Brian grew up in the Richmond, Virginia area. He attended George Wythe high school where he was a cadet and played trombone in the marching band. He also attended John Tyler Community College where he received an associate degree in horticulture. He spent a large portion of his life sharpening his skills in the horticulture field at Chesterfield County Building and Grounds facility.

The family would like to thank Ginter HaII South for caring for him during his declining months and to At Home Care for their daily care and attention.
