Daniel Ray Longworth

Daniel Ray “Danny” Longworth, 71, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was an employee of the Oldcastle Block Plant. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Daniel Ray Longworth, Jr. and parents, Robert B. Longworth, Jr. and Betty Nichols Longworth. He is survived by his wife, Martha “Sue” Longworth; aunt, Berdie Barnhouse; brothers, Robert B. Longworth (Erica) and Scott Longworth (Diane); children, Raymond Scott Longworth, Robert Arthur Massey and Joyce Elizabeth Clapp; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
