Johnny Richard Crouch, 94, of Martinsville passed away on June 25, 2024. He was born in Bassett, VA. February 14, 1930 to Mayfield H. Crouch and Lillian N. Crouch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Craig Crouch; sisters, Thelma C. Slaydon and Evelyn C. Lovell; brothers, Milton H. Crouch and Donald L. Crouch.
He is survived by sons, John R. Crouch and wife, Beverly of Montgomery, Alabama and Ronald C. Crouch of Celina, Texas; grandchildren, Mary Katherine Crouch of Richmond, VA, Christopher D. Crouch of Tallahassee, Florida, and Walter E. Crouch of Concord, California; great-grandchildren, Weston C. Crouch and Collins Ali Crouch of Tallahassee, Florida.
He was a member of both McCabe Memorial and First Baptist Church in Martinsville.
Mr. Crouch retired from Hooker Furniture as Plant Manager after 40 years of service. He was past president of Southern Furniture Manufacturing Association and Martinsville Lions Club. He was also a past member of Linwood Country Club, Forest Park Country Club and vice-president of Chatmoss Country Club.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville with the Rev. Joe Collins officiating.
Memorials may be made to McCabe Memorial Baptist Church, 107 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, VA 24112 or to First Baptist Church, 23 Starling Avenue, Martinsville, VA 24112.
