Hattie Mae Nolen Gilley, 91, of Danville, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021.
She was born in Woolwine, Va., on January 27, 1929 to Lula Baliles Nolen and John Abe Nolen.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Blaine Gilley; sisters, Annie Harris and Oma Merricks; brothers, Elmo and Roscoe Nolen; and grandson Tim Shough.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Doss (Steve) and Dianne Cox (Jay); son Blaine Gilley; grandchildren, Kelly Burton (Todd), Ken Doss (Staci), Jason Cox (Misty), Travis Cox; great grandchildren, Anna Burton, Noah Burton, Walker Doss and Easton Doss; brother Lemuel Nolen.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Danville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church at 4401 Westover Drive, Danville, VA 24541.
Due to COVID a private graveside service will be held at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bob Yeaman officiating.
