William "Bill" Lee Crawford

William “Bill” Lee Crawford, 80, of Madison Heights passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Bernice Crawford. Born in Amherst County on September 28, 1941 he was a son of the late Russell William Crawford and Nellie Coffey Crawford. He was preceded in death by a sister Gladys Gibson. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Tammy Wright and her husband John of Rustburg, Rachel Kubik and her husband Bobby of Lynchburg, David Crawford and his wife Eva and William “Little Bill” Lee Crawford, ll and his wife Dee Dee both of Madison Heights; a sister Ruthann Schmitt of Madison Heights; and five grandchildren, David Crawford, Jr., Michael Crawford, Allyson Cremeans, Dillon Wright, and McKayla Wright. A graveside service will be conducted 2:30 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Amherst with Pastor Jonathan Falwell and Pastor Dwayne Carson officiating.
