Robert Lawrence Hester III

Robert Lawrence Hester, III, 76, of Madison Heights passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra Marie Durham Hester. Born September 10, 1943, in Richmond, he was the son of the late Robert Lawrence Hester, II and the late Esther Peterson Hester. Robert was a retired legal processor and owner/operator of Hester & Associates Processing Services and owner of Hester Wholesale. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three children, Patricia Marie Hester of Baldwinsville, NY, Robert Scott Hester of Madison Heights and Julie Marie Hester Enochs and her husband Billy of Madison Heights; two sisters, Barbara Custalow of Richmond and Alice Marie Bearns of Silver Creek, NY; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Hunter, Calob, Matthew, Chris and Lizzy; three great grandchildren, Harper, Becca, Isabella (and one on the way); his three dogs, Coco Bean, Samantha Marie and Lulu Belle; and other loving family members and friends.
