Ellen Lou Burks Hannah, 71, of Madison Heights, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Randolph Bennett Hannah, Jr. Born June 11, 1950 in Okaloosa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Roy Burks and Mildred Saunders. She was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Tomlin; a brother, Roger Burks and a sister, Linda Fitzpatrick. She was a retired receiver with Food Lion. Mrs. Hannah is survived by two sons, Michael Tomlin and wife Stacy of Madison Heights and Joseph Tomlin, Jr., formerly of Amherst County; a stepson, Sonny Hannah of Campbell County; two sisters, Lynn Moore of Charlottesville and Margaret Lawhorne of Madison Heights; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Roberts, Brittany Stickel, Blair Tomlin, Christian Tomlin, Dillon Tomlin, and Harley Tomlin and two great-grandchildren, Ian Riley and River Roberts.
