Donna Kaye Fuqua

Donna Kaye Fuqua, 63, of Madison Heights, VA, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2023, returning to the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father. Born on September 13, 1960, in Richmond, VA, she was a cherished daughter of Lucy Fuqua and the late John Thomas Fuqua, Jr. Donna was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Thomas and Emma Fuqua, Sr., as well as her maternal grandparents, Eldridge and Blanche Stinnett. Donna's spirit was nourished by her unwavering faith and her connection to nature. She found solace and inspiration in the pages of books, as she recognized the wisdom and beauty of the written word. Her love for animals, especially dogs and horses, demonstrated her tender heart and her appreciation for the sacredness of all living beings. Donna is survived by her loving mother, Lucy Fuqua; sister, Barbara Loving; brother, John Fuqua (Karyn); stepson, Andy Almond; as well as nieces and a nephew. A visitation for Donna will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Whitten Monelison Chapel, 3966 S Amherst Hwy, Madison Heights, Virginia 24572. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Donna will be laid to rest in Briarwood Memorial Gardens, 1823 S.
