Deborah Sue Bragg Burks

Deborah Sue Bragg Burks, 59, of Amherst passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her residence. Born July 19, 1959, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Melvin Bragg, Sr. and the late Joyce Joann Garrison Bragg. Deborah was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and best friend. In addition to her father, Deborah is survived by five children, George Burks (Heather Thomas) of Madison Heights, Timothy Burks (Samantha Robinson) of Piney River, Tammy Burks of Lynchburg, Melissa Burks of Madison Heights and Angela Carwile of Bedford; three siblings, Cindy Gregory of Staunton, Tommy Bragg of Florida and Andrew Bragg of Waynesboro; twelve grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
