Mary June Minor

Mary June Salyers Minor, 88, passed away Sunday April 30, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife the late Paul Edwin Minor. June, a former home-office field auditor at People's Insurance Company, retired from her career and began a new chapter as a compassionate caregiver to many. Her gentle and nurturing personality, combined with her unwavering kindness, made her a natural at providing comfort and support to those in need. She touched the lives of many individuals, and her passing has left a profound impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. June will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit that never failed to show love and generosity to everyone she encountered, no one was ever truly a stranger. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. In addition to her husband, June was preceded in death by her father Dewey H. Salyers; her mother Nanny Williams Salyers; her brother William Salyers; and her son Tony Minor. Those left to cherish June’s memory include her daughter Teresa Roberts and her husband Clyde; her grandson Austin Roberts and his wife Audrey; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Watts; one sister, Shirley Rathbone and her husband Stan; her sister-in-law Charlotte Salyers and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
