Lillian Horsley Linn

Long-time resident of Lynchburg, VA, Lillian Horsley Linn passed away on December 30, 2018 at her son’s home in Apple Valley, MN after a short illness. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas Roller Linn; her son, Tommy H. Linn; an infant son, Thomas R. Linn Jr.; and a grandson, W. Christopher Linn. She is survived by her two sons, Benjamin Guy Linn (Cindy) and Jan Gary Linn (Joy); a daughter-in-law, Mary Taylor Linn; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was born in Appomattox, VA on March 24, 1918. She was the youngest daughter of Lillian Howard Marsh and Benjamin Abbott Horsley who had ten children. She was a lifelong active member of Fairview Christian Church. A memorial service will be held at Whitten’s Timberlake Chapel in Lynchburg on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm followed by interment at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please support Meals on Wheels of Greater Lynchburg.
