Kristin Ragland Rosser

Kristin Ragland Rosser, 46, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, October 01, 2015, at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation. Born May 19, 1969, in Lynchburg, she was the beloved daughter of William Henry Ragland and Sandra McFaden Ragland. Kristin graduated from Heritage High School where she played on the girls’ softball team and was in the marching band. She was active in her youth group and choir at church and later became a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Camalot Nursing Home which became Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center for 10 years. She later became a permanent resident there for 14 years after having multiple sclerosis. Kristin has fought a long battle with multiple sclerosis since high school, but was not diagnosed until 1993. Kristin made many friends while at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation those many years. Her family wishes to thank them for all their support and care and also the kindness shown to our family. We also thank hospice for all their loving care and support. Thank you for making her last days peaceful as she now walks with Jesus! In addition to her parents, Kristin is survived by her children, Caitlin B. Rosser, Meredith A Rosser and William A. Rosser, all of Lynchburg; two brothers, Brian B. Ragland and his wife Patricia and Brandon S. Ragland and his wife Brandy, all of Lynchburg; grandmother, Ruby Kiger; three nieces, Kelsey Ragland, Ashley Ragland and Breanna Ragland; and one nephew, Andrew Ragland. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery.
