Janice Reynolds Campbell

Janice Reynolds Campbell, 60, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Boyd Campbell. Born November 8, 1951 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Richard Sheffield Reynolds and Emily Rankin Reynolds and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Jackson Reynolds and Ronald Warren Reynolds. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister. She was a member of Jordan Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell is survived by three daughters, Virginia Dare Campbell, Rebecca Lynn Campbell, and Shelby Jean Campbell and one sister, Carolyn Austin Campbell, all of Lynchburg; James Douglas Downey, Mrs. Campbell’s boyfriend; a special nephew D.W. Campbell and a special niece, Jennifer Reynolds. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Melvin Campbell and Pastor J. Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
