Roxanne Milam

Roxanne Milam, 72, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born in Scottsville, Kentucky June 18, 1950 to the late Harold and Beatrice Douglas. She married Billie Milam on June 24, 1967, and together they had two kids. Roxanne had the most rewarding, and difficult job of all and spent her days taking care of her family. She put everyone before herself, always being there when needed. Once her kids were grown, she put just as much effort into being the best grandma she could be. She was a grandma to everyone, and will be deeply missed by all. Roxanne is survived by her children Jennifer Milam Pratt (Wade) and Chris Milam; her sisters Vicki Carver and Renee Shanahan; her beloved grandchildren Jaden Pratt and Sierra Pratt. She left this life before meeting her first great grandson Bentley Wells Sims, who is due to make his arrival February 28th. In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her husband Billie Milam in 2007. A visitation for Roxanne will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roxanne's memory may be made to the Lung Transplant Foundation, 1249 Kildaire Farm Road, Suite 323, Cary, North Carolina 27511; or any Military related organization of your choice.
