Ronald Franklin Cook, 69, Kokomo, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 9, 2018.
Ronald was born on April 8, 1949 in Kokomo, IN to his parents Otis F. and Ilona R. (Heathcoate) Cook.
He is survived by his sisters, Brenda (Mike) Imbler and Connie (Bill) Holt; nieces Beth (Mark) Zirkle, Shannon Miller (Tony Comoglio), Amanda (Jason) Paul, and Allison (Stu) Woods; great nieces and nephews, Brittany (Kyle) Dillon, Brooklyn (Kyle) Dugdale, Brady Zirkle, Quinnton Miller, Kinzie Miller, Boston Woods, and Zander Paul; great-great nieces and nephews, Ellie and Laken Dillon, and Koralyn Dugdale. Ronald is also survived by his cat Kurby, who he loved dearly.
Ronald graduated from Kokomo High School, Class of 1967. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army serving our country proudly as a reservist. He worked for Cuneo Press in Kokomo, then transferred to World Color Press in Salem, Illinois until retirement. Ronald then returned to Kokomo to be with family and friends. Ronald was an avid sports fan of IU, Pacers, Colts, and the St. Louis Cardinals. His greatest passion in life was his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Ilona.
Services will be Friday April 13th, 2018 at 2:00pm with visitation from 12:00pm until time of service at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
