Martha Mae Love, age 88, of Sharpsville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Martha was born July 5, 1933 to the late Tom and Violet (Amos) Temple.
She married Joe N. Love on March, 27, 1951. They spent 35 wonderful years together before his passing on September 17, 1986. Together they had four beautiful children. As a military spouse, Martha dedicated herself to her husband and family.
Martha loved traveling, spending time with her family, working on jigsaw puzzles, and attending Judson Road Christian Church. Her favorite pastime was watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. "It's TV time!"
Preceding Martha in death are her parents; her husband; two sons, Gary Love and Rodney Love (Rebecca); a sister, Margaret; three brothers, Thomas Temple, Bud Temple (Opal), and Wilbur Temple, and a grandson, Timothy Keller.
She is survived by her two daughters, Christel Barker (Steve) and Linda Piercy (Louie); a sister, Lillian Hardy (Ed); a brother, Wayne Temple (Paulette); grandchildren, Steven Keller, Erica Slusser, Jason Love, Richard R. Keller, Cherri Hendrix, and Erin Durr; along with several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service for Martha will be held at Ellers Mortuary Webster St Chapel on Saturday, March 19th at 5pm with Pastors Jason Double and Jeff Tinney officiating. Friends may gather for a time of visiting with the family starting at 3pm, also at the Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
