Dorothy W. Casey

Dorothy W. Casey, 90, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born February 23, 1924, in Carmi, Illinois, to Julius and Laura (Whiting) Botsch. On May 9, 1942, she married Joseph E. Casey, and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2003. She was a military wife and homemaker. She was a member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kokomo. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Bill) Reagan, Kokomo, and Connie (Jim) Vickers, San Clemente, California; four grandchildren, Connie (Thad) Gregory, Kelly (Doug) Nimmo, Brett Vickers, and Amy (Marc) Winger; eight great-grandchildren, Nolan Gregory, Madison Gregory, Ellie Gregory, Blain Gregory, Connor Nimmo, Cole Nimmo, Ella Winger, and Hannah Winger; and one nephew, David (Ethel) Green. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2000 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, with Pastor Jerry Van Auken officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo.
