Anita Kay Ewing

Anita Kay Ewing, 67, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on August 20 2022. She was born on July 29, 1955 in Kokomo, IN the daughter of James and Ellen Hutson (Hill). On September 22, 1973 she married Joseph Michael Ewing who preceded her in death on August 11, 2022. Anita graduated from Kokomo High School in 1972. She worked for Johnson Wert Title Company / Metropolitan Title Company for 35 years. Anita loved her family and made every family gathering special. She especially loved having everyone around during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Anita loved animals and had several pets throughout the years. Anita was very involved in her children's youth athletics. She served as team mom for every baseball, football and basketball team. But above all else, Anita enjoyed being a Mom and Nana. Surviving relatives include three sons, Scott Ewing (Melissa) of Fishers, IN; Chad Ewing (Sarah) of Fishers, IN; DeWayne Ewing (Annie) of Sharpsville, IN; grandchildren, Kinsey; Joslyn; Phoebe; Campbell; Norah; Aidan and Samuel; three sisters, Janet DeBusk; Linda Daily (Bob) and Diane Gray (Paul) all of Kokomo, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Jim Hutson. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home is assisting with private services.
