Paula Jean Moss

Paula Jean Moss, age 67, passed away on March 7th, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN after a prolonged illness with cancer. Paula was born on May 19, 1954 in Indianapolis to Raymond and LaVeda Moss. She was welcomed home by her brothers, Rev. Gary R. Moss, Timothy J. Moss, Bill Moss and Ted F. Moss. Paula’s family attended Christian Tabernacle Church in Indianapolis where they encouraged their family members to attend all services, including sending them to Calvary Christian School for a good education and spiritual development. Paula loved her brothers and was often spoiled by them as a young girl. She attended Warren Central High School and a Semester at Texas Bible College. After the passing of her father in 1977, she stayed close to her mother and lived with her until her passing in 2002. Paula lived on her own for several years and worked for Goodwill Industry and Marion Co ISD. She continued to be a faithful member of Christian Tabernacle throughout her lifetime. Paula was a baptized in Jesus Name, Spirit filled Christian who had her eyes set on something much greater than earthly things…she lived her life according to the word of God. “To live in Christ but to die is gain…She is home now… everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven!" (Philippians 1:21) Paula is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Moss; mother, LaVeda Moss; her brothers, Gary Moss, Tim Moss and Ted Moss; and nephew, Timothy Moss. She leaves behind her brother, Bill Moss and many nieces and nephews along with their families, her church family and friends. She will be missed and forever in our memory. A special thanks to Pam Hammer for the love and friendship she gave to Paula over the past few years. We are forever grateful. Family members Denise Lee and Barbara Hagy, thank you for assisting Paula while she was in the hospital and nursing home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
