Melanie Rose Johnson

Melanie Rose Johnson 63, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on November 26, 2020. Melanie loved gardening, camping and cooking. She worked as a Radiologist Technician at Methodist hospital for over 15 years. She won 1st place at the Indiana State Fair for the best looking Eggplant that she grew in her garden! She loved spending time with her family and friends. Melanie is survived by her loving husband; Jerry Johnson, sons; Vincent Warner and Malcolm Johnson, Mother; Mary Hawkins and siblings; Julie (Larry) Mund, Kristina (George) Stappas, Kevin (Jeanie) Hawkins, Brian (Lisa) Hawkins and Andrea (Andy) Powell. Melanie is preceded in death by her father; Malcolm Hawkins. A private family Memorial Gathering will take place at Feeney Hornak-Shadeland Mortuary on Saturday December 5, 2020 from 2:00pm-3:00pm. A Celebration of Melanie's Life will take place at the Funeral Home immediately following at 3:00pm.
