Katherine E. Tindall Svarczkopf

Katherine E. Tindall Svarczkopf, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away December 29, 2013. She was born February 7, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio to John B. and Helen E. Elliott Tindall. She was a cashier for Sears for 28 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Legion of Mary, Ladies of St. Peter Claver, Catholic Committee on Scouting, Daughters of American Revolution. She volunteered at President Benjamin Harrison Home and St. Vincent dePaul Society. She was a former member of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral. Also St. Andrew, St. Michael, Nativity and St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Katherine is preceded in death by her husband Frank Svarczkopf Jr. She is survived by her, sons Rev. Msgr. Mark Svarczkopf, Chris Svarczkopf, Frank Svarczkopf III, sisters Dorothy Shifley, Helen Moulton, brother John E. Tindall, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday January 3, 2014 at 11 am at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, from 3 - 7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and Friday January 3, from 10 – 11 am at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
