Jane D. Gibson

Jane D. Gibson, 101, of Carmel, Indiana, departed this life Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born April 2, 1921 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late James and Nellie (Dishman) Dougherty. She had worked as an executive secretary for F.H. Langsenkamp of Indianapolis for many years. She had served as president of the Executive Secretary’s Club. Jane was also an accomplished gardener and loved to read a good book to relax. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Karol C. Kennedy and Earl W. “Hoot” Gibson and her son, Stephen Kennedy. Jane is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Maxwell; granddaughter, Stephanie Bradshaw; great-grandsons, Nicholas (Jaidlin) Bradshaw and Michael (Sarah) Bradshaw and one great-great-granddaughter, Magnolia Bradshaw. A visitation for Jane will be from 1:00pm – 2:30pm on Thursday, December 29th at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel. Private entombment follows at Crown Hill Cemetery.
