AUX SOINS DE
Little & Sons Funeral Home
Herman Barger, 80, passed away Sunday, November 30th, 2014. He was born March 19th, 1934 in Hazard, KY to the late Estill and Grace Barger. Herman owned H & W Construction for over 25 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Wanda Barger; Son Dean (Paula) Barger; daughter Tina (Mike) Bowling; 6 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; brothers Estill Barger, Jr. and Garland Barger.
Herman was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church. Herman was a dedicated husband, father, brother and papaw. He loved spending time with the love of his life (Wanda) and enjoying time with his family. His grandchildren all had a special place in his heart and they will all tell you, there's no one like their papaw. He thoroughly enjoyed spending the cold Indiana winters at his home in Naples Florida where there was a constant reminder (on our coldest days) on how warm it was down there! Herman was always the prankster and loved to make others laugh, he was truly one of a kind and brought so much joy and everlasting memories into our lives. The world will continue to go on, but it will not be the same without him, he was a very special man and will be deeply missed. ....until we see him again.
