George Nordstrom

George R. Nordstrom 84, Indianapolis, died September 18, 2010. He was born in Chicago, Il. To Joseph and Anna Nordstom. George retired from the federal government after more than 30 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and served in both the Navy and the Army. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and a patriotic American. George was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Dolores, his brother Elmer Nordstrom, and newphews William Nordstrom and Wayne Paulauskis. George is survived by is son Paul Nordstrom and daughter, Laureanne Nordstrom, for whom he set an example of hard work and integrity. George is also survived by his sister, Adele Paulauskis, as well as his nephew, George Nordstrom, and niece Maryann Reynolds. Internment Oak Hill Cemetery Chicago, Il. At a later date.
