ELIZABETH ANN (BENGE) FISHER On July 7, 1966 Elizabeth Ann Benge was born to Claudia and Jim Benge; we called her Lisa, but she never liked that name. She lived in Indianapolis all of her life except while away at college. She studied graphic art for 1.5 years at IUPUI School of Informatics, one year at Ivy Tech Graphic Art School (Columbus, IN) and 1.5 years at Lee University (Cleveland, TN). She was a very creative and artsy person; especially on the computer. Lisa was a computer geek. She spent a great amount of her time on a website called “Second Life”, where she developed hundreds of friends. These friends have posted a large “Declaration of Life” site for her on “Second Life”. Lisa also was a competitive person, especially on specific game sites. She attained the “Masters Level” on a couple of games, and was much in-demand as a team member because of her high level of skill; she loved gaming and she was really good at it. Lisa had one child, who she loved deeply: Elizabeth Ann Crichlow, who graduated from IU and currently works and resides in Bloomington. Interestingly, she is also a computer geek – and an even better one than Lisa was, a fact that I am sure Lisa is proud of. Lisa was also God’s child; she was very spiritual and religious. She could sense and see things others could not. She had her own special religion and relationship with God. Although she was a true believer, she seldom went to Church as she had difficulty finding people who believed as she did; she described it as “believing the right way”. On Sunday mornings, when she didn’t go to church, she usually conducted her own Church services. Finally she found a special group of people that believed the “right way” at the Zionsville Presbyterian Church. She was planning to become much more involved with their Church, when tragedy took her life. Lisa is also survived by her father James R. Benge, a brother David R. Benge, a sister-in-law Stacy Benge, and niece, Mikayla R. Benge, and nephew, Keiran Broadley. She also has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. “Declaration of Life” services, for family and friends, will be held at the Zionsville Presbyterian Church on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The Church is located at 4775 W. 116th Street (southeast corner of 116th street and Michigan Road). Lisa left us much too soon; her passing is a great loss to her family, but a great gain for her Mother who is already with God. I am certain they are together in Heaven, and Heaven is the better for it. We Love You Forever, Elizabeth. We hope to see you again soon.
